As a SAGECare certified organization, and Lesbian-owned and operated business, Pallas Care specializes in caring for members of the LGBTQ+ community. You can rest assured that your orientation and individuality will be respected and celebrated by all our team members.

SAGECare is a division of SAGE, the country’s oldest and largest non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults. SAGECare provides LGBTQ+ competency training and consulting on LGBTQ+ aging issues to service providers. Pallas Care has earned a Platinum credential, the highest level available.

We serve clients living within Los Angeles County. Our offices are located in Pasadena, California.

How much do you charge?

Our prices vary based on the level of care required and the experience of the assigned caregiver. Email us to schedule your free initial client consultation, which includes a quote.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept self-paying clients and Long-Term Care Insurance only at this time.

How do I sign up/learn more?

We offer a free initial consultation for new clients, to better understand your needs and explain our services. Simply email us to book your session.

Pallas Care's Family Room portal lets you

monitor your loved one’s care online

Pallas Care understands how stressful it can be to have a loved one that needs help living independently. We help by giving you real-time visibility to their care with our online Family Room portal from our technology partner WellSky.

With Family Room you can access care records online from anywhere on any device. You and other family members can use the shared calendar to coordinate between yourselves and to track Personal Care Attendant visits. You can also review invoices and make payments.

About Jennifer

our CEO

Jennifer has been working within nonprofit organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community since 2015. She was inspired to found Pallas Care after witnessing firsthand the many challenges that LGBTQ+ seniors face, and the lack of culturally competent services to meet their needs.

Jennifer graduated from USC's Marshall School of Business in May 2023 with a Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship. Rich and Jen met in class and realized they shared the same passion for helping people age with dignity.

She is the treasurer of the board for the OUTWORDS Archive, a nonprofit dedicated to capturing, preserving, and sharing the stories of LGBTQIA2S+ elders nationwide.

About Rich

our Executive Director

Rich was inspired to start a different kind of home care agency by his parents' experience of aging at home. His work experience and education in human-centered design led him to believe there has to be a better way of supporting older adults' independence in their homes.

Rich graduated from USC's Marshall School of Business in May 2023 with an MS in Social Entrepreneurship (MSSE). He obtained an MS in Integrated Design, Business and Technology from USC's Iovine and Young Academy in 2020.

Originally from England, Rich now lives in Pasadena.
